If Only...
I was invited to Rosings, so I went to Rosings to dine with Lady Catherine. As I was dining with Lady Catherine, I could not help bu think about the what ifs. If only I had accepted Mr. Darcy's proposal... I could have been Lady Catherine's niece. What an odd thought. Also, with a smile on my face, I could not help but think of how her behavior would have changed towards me.

You're right Lizzy, Lady Catherine's behavior would have changed toward you. If you had annonced your engagement to her niece, I imagine she would have treated you with the upmost contempt. You are much better off. Having Lady Catherine as a relative would be the most horrible thing in the universe.
