Darcy Kind... Again

Today, Lydia let it slip that Mr.Darcy was at her "wedding", so I asked my dear aunt Mrs.Gardiner if she new about such things. I did not want to ask Lydia any questions then, for she asked us not to in an odd tone, and I just did not feel like it. Also, Jane gave me a look that I took as "Do not ask any questions." Therefore, I did not ask any questions, and I wrote the letter to Mrs.Gardiner without anyone's knowledge of it. When I received a reply to the letter, I was ecstatic, and I  went outside where nobody would be able to bother me. Boy was I shocked! Darcy was truly there, and he was involved. He was involved in a good way, though. I assume he is the one that helped pay off Wickham's debt along with my uncle. I cannot help but think that he did so for me. Could it be possible? Surely, if I had not told him anything, he would not be involved in any way.

  1. Yes Lizzy, I was there. The wedding was simple but it was good for Lydia. She was so excited. Wickham was excited too. However, he wasn't excited about marrying Lydia as much as he was about the money he was about to make. We share a common interest of hating that man. I can't believe I have to pay him.
